Christian "CJ" Hall (Toby) is happy to appear in his first production with Blank Canvas Theatre. He has appeared in several productions, both in Chicago, IL and here in Cleveland, including Little Women (Mr. Dashwood), Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf), Rent (Ensemble, Angel U/S) and his most recent production being at Beck Center in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Judah). CJ is grateful to the cast and crew for welcoming him with open arms, his friends and family for all the love and support.
Keith Kornajcik (Carmichael), a veteran of stages across Cleveland, is excited to make his Blank Canvas Theatre debut! The year 2024 has already seen him help birth THREE new works, playing God, a ghost, and a septuagenarian in productions at convergence-continuum and Cleveland Public Theatre. Other stages he has darkened include Beck Center, Clague Playhouse, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Dobama Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, and Karamu House. When not acting, Keith fronts the avant-rock band Home and Garden. Thanks to Barb and Scott Krauss, Team Tabby, and Meghan.
Jillian Mesaros (Marilyn) is pleased to be returning to Blank Canvas Theatre in this production. She was previously seen here in Rocky The Musical (Linda McKenna), Peter and the Starcatcher (Prentiss), and American Psycho (Victoria). Her other credits include Tri-C's Laws of Affection, Dobama Theatre's Gym Shorts (Petal), and Beck Center's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Many thanks to Patrick and this wonderful cast and crew for the opportunity, and endless thanks to her family and friends for the unconditional support and love.
Daniel Telford (Mervyn) most recently appeared in Skylight at none too fragile theater and The Fugitive’s Lesson at Cesear’s Forum. He has also appeared in several Beck Center productions, including Michael Frayn’s Noises Off and Neil Simon’s Broadway Bound. He was seen at Great Lakes Theatre/Idaho Shakespeare Festival in MacBeth and Agatha Christie’s Witness For The Prosecution. Here at Blank Canvas Theatre, he has appeared in several productions, including David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross, John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, and Jeff Glover’s comma. In addition to appearing on stage, Daniel has had the privilege to work with Patrick to build several of the sets at BCT, and is grateful for this opportunity.
Patrick Ciamacco (Lighting and Set Design) is the Artistic Director and founder of Blank Canvas Theatre. He dedicates this show to the person sitting in the third row, fifth seat from the left.
Andrew Keller (Director) is very pleased to be returning to Blank Canvas Theatre to direct at this incredible theater for the first time. Andrew is a proud graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, where he received a B.A. in Acting and Directing. His recent direction credits include Our Town at Broadview Heights Spotlights, Beauty and the Beast and Grease at Sandstone Summer Theater, and Willy Wonka at French Creek Theater. Recent acting credits include Ada and the Engine (Lord Lovelace), One Man, Two Guvnors (Alan), Silent Sky (Peter), and Into the Woods (The Baker). He has worked throughout Northeast Ohio as an actor, performing at The Huron Playhouse, Ensemble Theatre, Shahrazad Theatre Company, French Creek Theatre, Bay Village Community Theatre, Broadview Heights Spotlights, Strongsville Community Theatre, Clague Playhouse, and here at BCT. You can also catch him hosting (and playing) trivia at the Happy Dog in Cleveland (Cleveland Scene’s Best Bar Trivia 2023 winner). Luke Scattergood (Costume Design) has been active at BCT since its inception, both on and off stage. His favorite past roles at BCT include Brian in Avenue Q, Arthur in Bathroom Humor, and Jonas Fogg in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. His costume designs here include Hair, Sweeney Todd, American Psycho, We Will Rock You, and MANY more. He also works throughout the Cleveland area as an actor, costume designer, and director, and is the theater director at Bay Village High School. Thanks to his wife, Laura, and three terrific kiddos for all their love and support. Thank you for supporting live theater, and enjoy the show!!
Sydney Noelle Warren (Stage Manager) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre. She is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University with a B.A. in Film Studies and a minor in Theater. She has a thorough background in music, film, and theater. Although she is usually on stage, Sydney is absolutely thrilled to be stage managing for the first time! She would like to thank Pat for teaching her the ropes and trusting her with this new role! Sydney would also like to thank the cast and director for being so wildly talented! Enjoy the show!
