Benson Anderson (Harold Pudding/Mad Hatter) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre and working with Pierre again! Previous BCT credits include Abraham in Altar Boyz, Jonny (no H!) Warner in Zombie Prom, and Tim Price in American Psycho.  Benson sends a shout-out to his middle school students at Birchwood School of Hawken. You can find him on social media less and less.  Love always to Rachel and our pet parrot, Pippin.

 


Bryce Daniel Cook (Dodgy/Duchess) is thrilled to be making his professional debut with Blank Canvas Theatre!  His recent credits include Big Fish (Will Bloom), Little Women (Theodore "Laurie" Lawrence), Catch Me If You Can (Frank Jr.), and Legally Blonde The Musical (Dance Captain, Ensemble).  His most recent theatrical endeavor took him off the stage; he had the honor of serving as the Wig Supervisor of more than 20 wigs for Near West Theatre’s Beautiful: The Carol King Musical. He has been involved in theater since the first grade and will be studying musical theatre at the Manhattan School of Music this fall! At just eighteen years old, Bryce has also become a licensed cosmetologist. @b.d.cook.onstage

 

 

Devon (Angus/Caterpillar/Knave of Hearts) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre!  Thank you, Pierre and Patrick!

 

 

 

 

 

Madeline Golya (Clarissa/Queen of Diamonds) is thrilled to be performing in her first show with Blank Canvas Theater.  Some of her recent credits include Men on Boats (Hawkins), Silent Sky (Margaret Leavitt), John Proctor is the Villain (Raelynn Nix), and Electra (Chrysothemis).  She has also worked with KidShakes in The Tempest: Abridged (Storyteller) to bring accessible Shakespeare to children in and around Cleveland. Madeline is currently a fourth year student at Case Western Reserve University studying theater and English with a marketing minor, and will be graduating the day after closing night!  She is so thankful to her mom, dad, London, and Kine for their relentless support and love, and hopes you all enjoy the show. Gabriel J. Hill (Alfred Hallam/White Rabbit) is a sophomore music theatre major at Baldwin Wallace University, hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, and is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre!  Recent regional theatre credits include Rock of Ages (Drew), Altar Boyz (u/s Mark), and The 25th Annual...Spelling Bee (Chip); this summer he will be traveling to the East Coast to perform in Freaky Friday (Adam) at Prescott Park Arts Fest in Portsmouth, NH.  His other credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Priest 2/Ens, u/s Peter) and Orpheus in the Underworld (Mercury) at BW, as well as The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), Urinetown: The Musical (Bobby Strong), two productions of Les Misérables (Enjolras, Marius), and Anne of Green Gables (Gilbert Blythe).  Outside of theatre, Gabriel is a photographer and is part of the competitive a cappella scene. He was most recently nominated for a CARA Award (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards) for one of his arrangements, and won outstanding vocal percussion at the 2025 ICCA Midwest Quarterfinals.  He would like to thank the creative team and the entire cast for all their hard work to bring Alice by Heart together! @thegabrielj.hill

 

Elicia Kinder (Swing)  is excited to return to Blank Canvas Theatre!  She has been passionate about theater from a young age and is thrilled to bring her love for the stage to this production.  Her most recent credits include Wonka (Ms. Teavee), Annie (Miss Hannigan), School of Rock (Patty Di Marco), All Shook Up (Miss Sandra), and Leap of Faith (Swing/Emma Schlarp).  When not performing, she works as a social media ads manager and enjoys balancing the joys (and challenges!) of motherhood with her energetic son, Alex.  In her spare time, she loves devouring the latest crime novel, finding new creative outlets, and spending time with friends.  She is incredibly grateful for the support of her husband, Jake, who always encourages her to follow her dreams.  A huge thank you to the cast, crew, and production team for making this experience unforgettable.  Enjoy the show!

 

Evie Long (Tabatha/Cheshire Cat) is excited to be making her Cleveland debut on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage. Evie has had the good fortune of being part of many shows back home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with memorable roles in Grease (Betty Rizzo), Trail To Oregon (Mother), Bring it On: The Musical (Nautica), Chicago (June), Matilda the Musical (Mrs. Phelps/Big Kid), Legally Blonde The Musial (Pilar) and Newsies (Medda Larkin), among others.  She also has led hair design for several shows, including Jesus Christ SuperstarTitanicHairIn the Heights, and Hairspray.  Evie would like to thank her family, friends, and the entire cast and crew of Alice By Heart for all their support.  It has truly been an honor to share a stage and collaborate with such talented artists.  She hopes you enjoy this wonderful show as much as she enjoyed performing it. 

 

Connor Mast (Swing) is ecstatic to return to Blank Canvas Theatre, having previously appeared here in Groundhog Day (Ensemble), and Altar Boyz (Matthew).  His recent credits include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Beadle Bamford), All Shook Up (Chad), and Hair (Claude Hooper Bukowski).  Connor is originally from Holmes County, Ohio and has been doing theatre for almost ten years.  Some of his favorite projects include The Little Mermaid (King Triton), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick Pollitt), Shrek the Musical (Shrek), and Beauty and the Beast (Beast).  Connor is now a resident of Akron where some of his credits include Kinky Boots (Angel), Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Ensemble), Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Hill), and Ragtime (Ensemble).  Connor would like to thank his girlfriend, Emily, for all her love and support.

 

Jennifer Myor (Red Cross Nurse/Queen of Hearts) is excited to appear on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage.  Some of her favorite credits include Sail Away (Mimi Paragon), Little Women (Jo), Chaplin (Hedda Hopper/Hannah Chaplin),  Mamma Mia! (Rosie), Mary Poppins (Mary), Meet Me in St Louis (Esther), Carousel (Julie Jordan), Finian's Rainbow (Sharon), Me and My Girl (Sally Smith), and The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite) Jennifer has also performed regionally with Cedar Point, Virginia Musical Theatre, The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres, The Goodtimes Theatre, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and internationally for Holland America and Celebrity Cruise Lines. 

 

Peter Seidl (Nigel/Dormouse/Knave of Clubs) is thrilled to be working with Blank Canvas Theater for the first time! This is  his second production since graduating from high school, and he could not be more excited to continue pursuing theater!  Previously, Peter has performed in The Wizard of Oz (Tinman), Curtains (Aaron Fox), and The Music Man (Harold Hill).  He is so thankful for family and friends who continue to make him strive for better, and for the opportunity to be a part of this production.

 

 

 

Raina Thiegs (Alice Spencer/Alice)  is overflowing with whimsy and joy for Alice by Heart! Raina calls Chicago home, but currently attends Baldwin Wallace University and is working toward her B.F.A. in Acting.  Her credits include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Ophelia), The Secret in the Wings (ensemble), and most recently, The Wolves (#13) at Dobama Theatre, where she made her professional debut in March. At BW, Raina is a member of Faces for Radio Improv and considers herself a professional make-believer!!! Thank you to Mom, Dad, and Story for their constant love and support. Dan Zalevsky (Dr Butridge/King of Hearts/Jabberwock) appears in his first Blank Canvas Theatre production, and he could not be happier to be surrounded and supported by so much talent.  A big thank you goes to Pierre, Patrick, and the entire production team for making this whole adventure possible.  All of the gratitude and love to Claudia, Liam, Claire, Hank, and Twyla for sharing him with the stage.  His recent credits include A View from the Bridge (Eddie Carbone) at Cain Park, and The Prospect of Equality (Scalia), Mother Courage (Chaplain), The River (The Man), and Clybourne Park (Karl/Steve) at Ensemble Theatre.

 

 

 

Pierre Brault (Director/Costume Design) is excited to be making his debut at Blank Canvas Theatre.  A lifelong admirer of Alice in Wonderland, Pierre began collecting memorabilia related to the story during high school, often finding rare pieces on his travels. The tale holds deep personal meaning -- it was the first book he remembers receiving as a child, a gift from his late grandmother.  Directing Alice by Heart marks the first time he brings Wonderland to life onstage.

 

 

 

 

Patrick Ciamacco (Artistic Director, Lighting, & Set Design) is so excited to be working on this show and collaborating with people he loves and respects!  Patrick is the Artistic Director and founder of Blank Canvas Theatre.  He dedicates this show to the person sitting in the third row, fifth seat from the left.

 

 

 

 

Jailyn Sherell Harris (Choreographer) is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she received her B.A.C. in theatre, with a minor in dance.  As a performer, she has had the opportunity to perform in film, festivals, arenas, and theaters across Northeast Ohio and beyond, with credits from Dobama Theatre, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Ensemble Theatre, Karamu House, Lakeland Civic Theatre, the Players Guild Theatre, and the A.R.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  She enjoys working on and developing new works and had the opportunity to perform in the world premieres of Velveteen: A New Musical (Playhouse Square) and Heartbreakers in Hell by Joey Contreras and Benjamin Halstead (Rubber City Theatre).  Jailyn has choreographed for theatres and organizations throughout the area and beyond, including the Sitar Arts Center in Washington D.C.  Locally, she has choreographed productions at Near West Theatre (The Music Man, Bring it On: The Musical, Legally Blonde The Musical), Dobama Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, and Clague Playhouse, to name a few.  Jailyn’s directing credits include Matilda The Musical (M.A.D Factory), The Marian Bianchi Young Playwright’s Festival at Dobama Theatre,  a staged reading of the new musical Wishful Thinking by Jamie Maletz (Rubber City Theatre), and a virtual production of Ragtime (M.A.D. Factory).  In addition to her directing and choreographing credits, she is also a 2023 Room in the House Fellow.  Jailyn has a strong dance background and extensive experience in jazz, hip hop, step, and musical theatre.  She is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).

 

Kenny Lear (Music Director) is thrilled to be making his Blank Canvas Theatre debut and to be working in his hometown!  Other music direction credits include Big Fish (Cain Park), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (assoc. MD/Ohio Shakespeare Festival), Waitress (assoc. MD/Beck Center), Mamma Mia!, A Christmas Carol, Queen of the Night: A Whitney Tribute, The Little Mermaid Teen Edition, (Palace Theater/New Hampshire), Chicago, Always Patsy Cline, Elf, The Ratpack Lounge (Show Palace Dinner Theater/Florida), and The 80s Benefit for BC/EFA (GreenRoom 42/New York City).  Select onstage credits include The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Featured Singer/Radio City Music Hall), Naked Boys Singing! (Swing/New World Stages), Mrs. Smith’s Broadway Cat-Tacular (Original Cast, Off-Broadway), and Million Dollar Quartet (Jerry Lee Lewis/Show Palace Dinner Theater).  Kenny is also an Adjunct Professor at Baldwin Wallace University - Conservatory of Performing Arts.
