CAST
Amiee Collier (Patricia) is honored to make her Blank Canvas debut in Extremities. Favorite local credits include: [title of show] (Susan), Young Frankenstein (Frau Blucher), She Loves Me (Ilona), and Evil Dead - The Musical (Cheryl) at Beck Center for the Arts; Next to Normal (Diana) and Assassins (Sarah Jane Moore) at Lakeland Theatre; Sweeney Todd (The Beggar Woman) at Cain Park, Into the Woods (The Baker’s Wife) at Tri-C West, and The Last Five Years (Cathy) at Straw Hat. By day, Amiee is Office Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, and has a dog that she’s probably told you too much about already. Thank you to Patrick, Jonathan, and Pam for the ride!
Aaron Christopher Marrero (Raul) is extremely excited about the opportunity to play Raul in this production. He believes this will be his most challenging character/role yet. Some of his previous work includes the film Aquatic-X (Pace) in which he played a military officer, the film Jesus Christ (Judas) in which he played an apostle, and a television pilot Out of Ashes (Patrick), based on the best-selling novel written by Sutton L. Avery, in which he played a member of the KKK in the 1950s. He has done mostly independent films, but wants to become more involved in theatre and believes this is a great step in that direction. He has only been an actor for nine months, but has developed a passion for the craft and hopes to study at a professional theatre school in New York this fall. He says that without the support of his parents, John and Debbie Marrero, and the mentorship of his cousin and actors Kenny Santiago Marrero and Victor Perillo, he would not be able to pursue his dream of being an actor.
Tiffany Trapnell (Marjorie) - is thrilled to be playing Marjorie in her debut performance on this stage. She dedicates her performance to the Victims- here's a stinger for ya!
Katie Zarecki (Terry) is very excited to be involved in her first Blank Canvas Theatre production. She recently finished Coach House Theatre's Towards Zero (Mary Alden). Some of her favorite credits are Legally Blonde (Vivienne), Henry IV: Part One (Mistress Quickly), and Evil Dead - The Musical (Cheryl). She has choreographed with various theaters in the Cleveland area and is the resident choreographer for Cleveland Heights High School. She loves to spend her summers singing, dancing, and sword fighting with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival.
Jonathan Kronenberger (Director), Associate Director of Theater Education at Beck Center for the Arts, holds a BFA in Acting from Miami University and an MFA in Directing from Ohio University. He has directed locally at Beck Center for the Arts, Clague Playhouse, Cleveland Play House and Western Reserve Playhouse, as well as in NYC at the Aegean Theater Company, Expanded Arts, Wings Theater and Circle in the Square Theater School. Recent performance credits include Harry in Night of the Living Dead and Juror #2 in Twelve Angry Men at Blank Canvas Theater, along with Sipos in She Loves Me and Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Beck Center. Mr. Kronenberger is an Associate Member of the Dramatists Guild. He thanks Mr. Ciamacco for this incredible opportunity.
Pam Matthews (Stage Manager) is truly honored to be a part of this show. She has performed in theatres across Northeast Ohio, from Amherst to Stow, and has been involved in various other production activities in almost as many. When not in a theatre, Pam can usually be found being all bookish at Cleveland Public Library.
Morgan Parker (Costume Designer) is excited to be designing the costumes for -Extremities-. She is a junior fashion design student at Kent with a minor in costuming, and this is her first time working behind the scenes for a show.
