CAST/STAFF

Tasha Brandt is excited to be back on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage… and performing for an audience! She has been seen at BCT in The Rocky Horror Show (Columbia), Cabaret (Lulu), Night of the Living Dead (Judy), High Fidelity (Marie), Working (Woman 1), and Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (Lisa). BCT will always hold a special place Tasha’s heart; Patrick has created an incredible space for folks to express themselves and be themselves whilst doing what they love to do.  Tasha thanks everyone who came to support this benefit during such unprecedented times, and says thank you to Mom, Dad, Krystal, and Danny for being her number one fans.  She is so thrilled to be doing what she loves and to be on the BCT stage again!

Eric Fancher’s previous Blank Canvas Theatre credits include Evil Dead - The Musical (Ash), The Rocky Horror Show (Brad), Godspell (“Light of the World” soloist), Merrily We Roll Along In Concert (Franklin), and both years of The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (Steven).  His other credits include The Music Man In Concert (Harold Hill) at Cain Park;  Merrily We Roll Along (Franklin), Violet (Monty), and A Little Night Music (Henrik) at Lakeland Civic Theatre; and, most recently, as a guest artist in Urinetown: The Musical (Cladwell) at Oberlin College Theater.  Eric is a cancer survivor, a haberdasher, the founder/webmaster for the Cleveland Stage Alliance, and a monthly soloist at Unity Spiritual Center in Westlake, as well as a frequent performer for The Musical Theater Project.  By day, he can be caught slinging suits at Men's Wearhouse in Strongsville.

Madeline Krucek is abundantly thankful to be doing what she loves and creating again with friends!  Her most memorable performances would have to be Heathers: The Musical (Veronica Sawyer) at Beck Center for the Arts and Bonnie & Clyde (Bonnie Parker) at Cassidy Theatre, as well as RENT (Mimi Marquez) at Tri-C West Theatre.  Since graduating with a B.A. in Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University, she realizes life is a balancing act that gets pretty hectic.  But she has endless adoration and gratitude for all of her loving family and friends as they support her to their fullest in her pursuits.

And thank you, the audience, for supporting this very awesome theatre.

Neda Spears was looking forward to performing in a production of The Spitfire Grill with The Access Theatre Project before the world became the Upside-Down.  She was last seen at Blank Canvas Theater as one of the Acid Queens in The Who’s TOMMY benefit concert. Her debut at BCT was as another Queen (Killer) with We Will Rock You, and then she played with puppets as Gary in Avenue Q.  She has performed at Dobama Theatre (Sherlock Holmes: The Baker Street Irregulars), Theater in the Circle (The All Night Strut!), and Ensemble Theater (Huck and Holden).  In Chicago, she performed in productions of Buddy (Apollo Performer- National tour), Honk! (Mrs. Coot), and was one of the original ensemble members of Could It Be Magic?, written and directed by Barry Manilow.  Favorite roles include Sr. Hubert (Nunsense; Nunsensations!), Susannah (Tintypes) and the original roles she portrayed in the American Girls' Revue (Momma) and Pearl Cleague’s comedy, The Nacirema Society... (Jessie), which debuted at the Alabama Shakespeare Theater and the Alliance Theater. Once more, thank you to Patrick and my adopted BCT family for picking me to play on the playground.  Stay safe and maybe soon we will defeat the Gormogon.

Patrick Ciamacco is thrilled to be working with so many talented and amazing people!  Without them --  and YOU -- this place would not exist.  Patrick is the Artistic Director and founder of Blank Canvas Theatre.  This has been one of the roughest years… but theatre and everyone involved in this show help make each day a bit better.

Luke Scattergood (Costume Design) Is excited to be back at his theater home, where he has been involved both on and off stage since the doors opened.  Recently, he has been spending a lot of time at home, bing-watching Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime...well, you get the idea.  Thanks to Patrick for this opportunity to get the creative juices flowing again, and to his family for all their love and support.  Stay safe and enjoy the show!

Bradley Wyner (Music Director) has witnessed the following things that Bradley previously thought wouldn’t be possible that have successfully happened on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage: Projecting the entire set; fitting the band on that platform; the whole band using their phones to set their own monitor mix; Rocky’s memorable wardrobe malfunction; an actress learning aerial silks; an actress singing from aerial silks; an actress singing while spinning upside-down from aerial silks; Pat learning how to weld a trick barber chair.  Strangers enter a room, lights go down, music goes up, and we have a thrilling experience together, so close that we can see each other’s faces.  We will do it again.  For now, let’s do this.
